After the enormous success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans are already hoping for news of a fourth film in the franchise. Fortunately, Sony Pictures Chairman Tom Rothman is aware of the situation and has a hopeful Spider-Man 4 update in the works.

When asked about the Spider-Man franchise's future, Rothman stated that he hopes work on a fourth picture begins as soon as possible. Even better, he expressed optimism that the entire cast of the franchise, including Tom Holland, will return.

"We expect to get started on the next Spider-Man movie," Rothman told Deadline, adding that he hopes the entire ensemble returns. "We're hoping for the entire group."Then there are films that I consider to be ancillary to the Spider-Man universe. That's Kraven, which we're currently shooting, and Madame Web, which S.J. Clarkson will direct in the spring. There are also several Marvel characters who can stand alone."

Many fans anticipated that after the release of No Way Home, they would see Tom Holland and the most recent Spider-Man ensemble for the last time, especially after statements by Holland that seemed to suggest he was ready to leave the web-slinging role. However, it appears that this is no longer the case, and a new feature could be in the works much sooner than fans had anticipated.
