Ryan Reynolds calls out 'traumatic' 'Bambi' ahead of R-rated 'Deadpool' release on Disney+

Ryan Reynolds calls out 'traumatic' 'Bambi' ahead of R-rated 'Deadpool' coming to Disney+

Ryan Reynolds has a beef with some of the cherished classics already available to stream from the House of Mouse. On Friday, the two Deadpool movies will disrupt Disney+'s family-friendly programming as the first R-rated films on the platform.

"some Disney movies [that] should already be rated R for irreversible trauma," Reynolds satirized on Twitter.

Reynolds displayed four limited, red rating cards for four movies that are simple to understand when taken in context.

"The following beloved animated classic should NOT be approved for all audiences be they minors, miners, or bashful," the first disclaimer states. It has a R rating "Breaking and entering. Borderline polyandry. Pretty sure those diamonds aren't cruelty-free."

So, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and while the "breaking and entering" is entirely legitimate, we never learn the dwarves' marital status. Of course, if it's just seven sinful men, then maybe we should bump this up to an NC-17.

That's about as cruelty-free as you can get and yet retain those carats intact, plus the dwarves were singing while they mined of their own free will.

The second film shouldn't be approved for "dog lovers" because it features "Total ugly-cry inducing, straight-up murder of Old Yeller. Also, bear abuse."

Reynolds is correct. The child was forced to shoot his dog! If Old Yeller were released today, PETA would set Epcot ablaze.

The third movie has an R-rating "Fratricide. Mauling. Very possibly half-sibling lovin', or at least kissin' cousins. Seriously."

The 1994 animated version of The Lion King is almost wonderful, but if you weren't bothered by Mufasa getting run over by a herd of wildebeests, I have one question for you: Who did you hurt?

Was Simba and Nala related, though? I'm shaken.

Bambi, the Disney terror's great-grandfather or grand-mommy, comes last. Because of the "Cold-blooded killing of an innocent deer mom, that will cause lifelong trauma," Reynolds claims that this film should be labeled R.

Reynolds has a point once more. With perspective, though, it should be noted that Disney has a real penchant for orphans. Reynolds has a point once more. With perspective, though, it should be noted that Disney has a real penchant for orphans. Even Snow White had a mother who had passed away in her past. In fact, you can argue that pretty much any Disney animated film is completely f - -ed if you take a close look at it. In essence, Alice in Wonderland is a legalized drug trip. Cinderella, a different orphan, suffers torture from her stepmother and stepsisters. Well, the term "Lady and the Tramp" says it all.

So, are these traumatizing films actually worse than Deadpool or Logan? Yes. Yes a million times over. Nevertheless, we're happy that they will finally be accessible on Disney+ so that we may prepare for the impending arrival of mutants into the
