Dwayne Johnson Thinks That MCU and DCEU Could Cross Paths One Day

Since the debut of the first Iron Man movie, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been constantly expanding. The franchise has established a strong reputation for itself thanks to excellent acting, captivating stories, and happy endings. With a few forgettable movies that haven't gone up to expectations, the DC Extended Universe, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be on level with the MCU. Black Adam, the next major film in the DCEU, will star none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson shared some intriguing ideas with the audience in a recent interview with Total Film. First, he discussed the DCEU's intention to broaden the universe by adding new characters and other material. He then moves on to his upbeat theory, in which he claims that there are two pantheons of superheroes and supervillains: one for DC and the other for Marvel. He believes that these two routes will undoubtedly converge at some point.

I am optimistic. Just my nature is optimistic. And especially when it comes to creative. Especially when it comes to movies. And especially when it comes to the pantheon of DC superheroes and supervillains. Across the street, we have the pantheon of superheroes and supervillains of Marvel. To me, they can not only exist, but they should, in my mind, cross paths one day.

On the other hand, fans concur with the WWE superstar who claims that each have their own multiverses and can always cross over. Additionally, this kind of crossover has previously occurred in comic books, so why not in the film universe as well. Fans of both universes would love nothing more than to see the Justice League and The Avengers work together to defeat a huge threat. It is undoubtedly an exciting prospect. On the other side, the audience would enjoy seeing Superman battle Thor.
