Zack Snyder Fans Reportedly Sent Death Threats to DCEU Boss Walter Hamada
After Justice League's Ray Fisher accused Zack Snyder of meddling with an inquiry, supporters of the director made death threats to DC Films President Walter Hamada.
Zack Snyder supporters allegedly made death threats to DC Films President Walter Hamada after he was accused of obstructing an inquiry into wrongdoing that occurred during reshoots for 2017's Justice League.
Variety reports that many Warner Bros. employees have shown their support for Hamada and believe he has been treated unfairly ever since taking the helm of DC Films. They stated that after Justice League star Ray Fisher publicly accused the executive of hindering an inquiry into misconduct charges connected to "reshoots on" Justice League that were directed by Joss Whedon, Hamada "had to endure death threats."
The employees felt that Warner Bros. could have done more to defend Hamada during the time of allegations and feel that it was unjust that fans of the Snyder-verse singled him out because the movie was already finished when he took over at DC. Two months after Justice League hit theatres and six months after Joss Whedon finished the 2017 movie's reshoots, Hamada began working for DC Films in January 2018.

Fisher first accused director Joss Whedon of "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable" behaviour on the Justice League set in 2020. Whedon served as writer and director during the film's reshoots after Snyder left the project. Fisher claimed that Hamada called him after he made these remarks public and requested that he retract them.
WarnerMedia did look into the incidents that took place on Whedon's Justice League set as a result of the actor's complaints, but no abuse-related evidence was discovered. Fisher has persisted in calling for an independent investigation since the investigation concluded, despite denials from Whedon, Johns, Beg, Hamada, and former Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group Chairman Toby Emmerich.
In DC, Walter Hamada might be executed
According to recent sources, Hamada may have been completed at DC Films. As the HBO Max film (as well as The Flash movie) was supposed to tease a future Crisis on Infinite Earths event film, it has been alleged that he thought about leaving the company over Warner Bros.'s abrupt decision to shelve Batgirl. Hamada has decided to hold onto his current role till Black Adam premieres in theatres on October 21. Hamada is "pausing," according to a source with knowledge of the matter, and "a decision has not yet been made to make this confrontational." Hamada has not made any public remarks about the situation.

The 10-year plan that Warner Bros. Discovery is developing is "very similar to the structure that Alan Horne and Bob Iger put together very successfully with Kevin Feige at Disney" and "focus[es] solely on DC." According to WBD CEO David Zaslav, quality rather than quantity will be the main emphasis for DC movies going ahead. The Flash is one DC movie that could be enhanced before it is released in theatres, and the corporation will not release any movie before it is good and ready.
