Keanu Reeves wants to join MCU, would play Ghost Rider
In response to the potential Ghost Rider role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Keanu Reeves says it would be the realisation of a childhood fantasy.
Keanu Reeves has discussed the potential of playing Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as fans continue to suggest candidates for the famous role. Due to his connections to the supernatural world and battles with several demonic foes throughout the years, including Lucifer himself, The Ghost Rider is one of Marvel Comics' most recognisable characters. The Ghost Rider moniker, which was given to a variety of characters by the Spirit of Vengeance Zarathos, was most frequently linked with Johnny Blaze. With the 2007 film and its 2011 sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which have amassed cult followings for his performance as the title protagonist, Nicolas Cage immortalised the Blaze incarnation of Ghost Rider. After leaving the part and having a planned sequel shelved, Ghost Rider would return to the big screen with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which mainly focused on Gabriel Luna's Robbie Reyes, who was supposed to get a solo show on Hulu until Marvel Television was merged with Marvel Studios. Although the ABC programme technically took place within the MCU, Reyes' Ghost Rider had the ability to travel to other dimensions, therefore the possibility of a new Ghost Rider joining the franchise was not ruled out.

Keanu Reeves talked about his comic book BRZRKR on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently, and he revealed which Marvel character he would like to play. Reeves did express his interest in making Ghost Rider come to life for the big picture, although joking that he is more fit for the role of the protagonist in his own comic. How Can Ghost Rider Join The MCU?
With the promotion for episode 4 alluding to a man by the name of Donny Blaze, audiences lately began to speculate that a Ghost Rider reveal was coming to the MCU in the near future with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. It was revealed that the guy, played by Entourage alum Rhys Coiro, was a former Kamar Taj dropout who was using his magic irresponsibly, causing demons to be released on the audience at one of his shows, and who agreed to forego learning the Mystic Arts. While Cage's Ghost Rider would eventually not make an appearance in the movie, some people also started to speculate that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness would feature the reappearance of Cage's character.

Given that Phases 4-6 of the MCU's Multiverse Saga are still in progress, it's not completely impossible for either Cage's Johnny Blaze or Luna's Robbie Reyes to make a comeback as the franchise's Ghost Rider. But there is still a chance that Reeves will get the chance to play the part given how eagerly Marvel Studios wanted to include him in the MCU and how the actor continues to show an interest in the comic book genre in films like the recently released DC League of Super-Pets and the upcoming Constantine 2. Viewers may watch Cage's first Ghost Rider on Fubo and his second on Starz while waiting.
