On Wednesday CinemaCon was in full force, and there have already been a slew of significant announcements. While there were some nice updates on big franchises like Avatar, everyone wants to know what the future holds for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney took the stage on Wednesday morning, and while there were some nice updates on big franchises like Avatar, everyone wants to know what the future holds for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney's attention was primarily on upcoming films such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder, but MCU CEO/producer Kevin Feige suggested that plans for the franchise's future are in the works.

Feige told the audience that following CinemaCon, he will be heading to a Marvel Studios retreat to concentrate on the MCU's next ten years.That isn't much to go on, but it's plenty to get any fan of this great franchise to start speculating. The MCU is currently coping with the multiverse, which is its most ambitious phase yet. Not only for long-time fans of the franchise, but also for Feige, Spider-Man: No Way Home was a full circle moment. Feige began his illustrious career as an associate producer on Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, assisting in the production of the full trilogy before moving on to the MCU. Feige worked on Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man in No Way Home, and he'll work with Raimi again in Multiverse of Madness.

Marvel has had a phenomenal run in recent years, and it's only going to get better with forthcoming films like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania, The Marvels, and Blade. Furthermore, all Disney+ series such as Loki Season 2, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Echo, Ironheart, Iron Wars, and What if...? will continue to expand the MCU. Season 2 of the show. It's anyone's guess what the next ten years will bring. What could be more thrilling and magnificent than the multiverse? Thankfully, it is not our responsibility to figure out — though any Marvel fan would love to be a part of this retreat.

Kang the Conqueror, in all seriousness, will be the MCU's next major danger.Who will be next now that both the timeline and the multiverse have been shattered? Who is this Doctor Doom? Magneto? It's probable that The Fantastic Four and the X-Men, as well as ideas for the Young Avengers, will be on the table. Fans have speculated for years on how the MCU will introduce these famous heroes, and unless the Multiverse of Madness has anything to say about it, the next phase of films appears to be a good moment to do it. With Patrick Stewart's Professor X allegedly appearing in the Multiverse of Madness teaser, we've already had a taste of the X-Men.

Whatever the case may be, Marvel fans have been chowing down since the introduction of WandaVision at the start of 2021.This wonderful nerdy wave appears to be continuing with Multiverse of Madness, Love, and Thunder. We won't know what's going on at this retreat for a while, but if and when Doctor Strange fixes the multiverse, we'll learn a lot more about the MCU's future.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theatres on May 6, followed by Thor: Love and Thunder and Ms. Marvel on June 8 in theatres and on Disney+.
