Marvel has reportedly cast an actor to play New Ghost Rider
With his blazing motorcycle and menacing appearance, Ghost Rider, Marvel's Spirit of Vengeance, has previously made a few live-action appearances. Nicholas Cage, a fan favourite, appeared in two feature films as the Rider between 2007 and 2011. The character was also portrayed by Gabriel Luna in a season-long arc on Agents of SHIELD.
A live-action Ghost Rider series was also in the works under Jeph Loeb's Marvel Television branch, however it was cancelled before it could premiere owing to Marvel TV's demise and Marvel Studios' takeover.
The reason for the project's halt was reportedly owing to Marvel Studios' intentions for the character in the MCU, and rumours say that a Ghost Rider-focused film has been in development since 2020.
The rumour mill around Ghost Rider appears to be heating up once more. Scooper Charles Murphy claimed in a now-deleted tweet that Marvel has chosen an actor to play Ghost Rider in the MCU.
Is Ghost Rider Appearing In A Marvel Cinematic Universe Project?
Marvel Studios is purportedly meeting with an actor to discuss the role of Ghost Rider in the MCU, according to a tweet from scooper Charles Murphy. It's most likely the actor that Murphy previously stated Marvel was eyeing.

Murphy insists that no one has been cast, while Marvel claims otherwise ""I never said Ghost Rider was cast," I said in a conversation with someone. They were conversing with someone, as I stated. I replied he'd be excellent IF THE DEAL WAS CLOSED. Please don't blame this on me. It is untrue."
Who's Danny Ketch? Johnny Blaze Robbie Reyes?
It'll be interesting to see whatever version of Ghost Rider Marvel Studios chooses. After all, a number of Riders have appeared in the pages of comic books.
Another crucial concern is when and where will Ghost Rider make his debut. The MCU appears to be dipping its toes into the horror genre, albeit in dribs and drabs.
In an upcoming film, Mahershala Ali will play Blade, a half-vampire who made his first (off-screen) appearance in Eternals' post-credits sequence. And while we're on the subject of vampires, the creatures were mentioned in an episode of Loki.

Is Norman Reedus set to play Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Reedus signed on to play the MCU's antihero in late December, according to the website Giant Freakin' Robot. Following that, Reedus shared a link to an Instagram post about the allegation that included fan art of him as the character.
Insider informed Reedus, "We expect to hear something about this soon." ""Me too, Ghost Rider," Reedus added. Me too."
Reedus expressed interest in the part to ComicBook.com in 2021, describing the site how he imagined his character: "I'm looking for a flaming skull. I want to morph into a burning skull and whirl a chain around in my face."
