The MCU's Star-Lord Will Always Be Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt's apparent membership in a certain church has sparked some recent debate. James Gunn has defended the actor, calling the claims "internet chatter" on social media.Despite any social media criticism, Gunn also stated that Pratt would always be the MCU's Star-Lord, and that he would not be recasting the part.

"For what?" Gunn responded to a Pratt critic who demanded the recasting. Because of your completely bogus, made-up beliefs about him?

For anything you heard about him from someone else that isn't true? Chris Pratt will never be replaced as Star-Lord, but if he is, we'll all be there with him chevalier."

"He isn't," Gunn said to someone who claimed Pratt was a member of a "homophobic" church. "I'm familiar with the church where he currently worships. Do you agree? (You don't, but you heard from someone who heard from someone who heard from someone where he goes to church, and you concluded, 'oh, okay, I'll believe this dreadful thing I heard online about this celebrity!')
